Pridiom may be a brand that is new to most of you, but that is no reason to rule them out when looking for a mini split air conditioner.
Pridiom offers affordable inverter split systems as well as some multi zone
systems and some non inverter options. I recently had the opportunity to check
out the AMS121HX which is a 12,000 BTU single zone inverter split system with a
heat pump. The first thing I noticed was how quiet it was. Even on the highest
of the three fan speeds, the noise was not overpowering like a window unit. It
comes with a simple to use remote control with a wall bracket, so you don’t
lose it.

Pridiom really makes installation easy. They include almost everything that you need, all at no additional cost. The included 25’ line set
is long enough for most installations. They even give you the electrical wire
with easy to connect terminals on the ends.

The unit I looked at was installed as a replacement for a window unit, and the differences are drastic. No longer do you have to worry
about removing the unit in the winter. With the AMS121HX you even get the
benefit of having an energy efficient heat pump. Many people buy
these units simply for their cooling capabilities, but once you know the
heating feature is there, you will start use it. You can take advantage of the
zoned efficiency of a mini split all year round, only using the heating or
cooling in the room you are in.

Besides the performance features, you also get the benefit of a more stylish unit. While this really can’t compare to the LG art cool
units, it does have a sleek, clean look that will fit in very well in most
rooms.

Overall, this is a great unit. Don’t worry about not knowing the brand. Pridiom has entered the market with a quality product and is
here to stay.
